- Different ways to throw a disc (Frisbee)
- Backhand: easiest to learn and do

- Clap Catch: most effective way to catch the Frisbee
- One hand pointing up and 1 down; you clap the disc between your hands; one on top and one underneath.

- Types of strokes:
- Forehand: palm side of your hand faces the ball
- Forehand is performed on the dominant side of your body. If you are right-handed, your right side is your dominant side.
- To perform a forehand stroke you must turn your body so that your non-dominant shoulder is facing the ball, bring the racquet back, and step forward hitting the ball with the paddle side of the racquet. Make sure that you follow through with your stroke.
- Backhand: the back of your hand faces the ball
- Backhand is performed on your non-dominant side
- The lob
- It would be could to use a ‘lob’ shot when your opponent is close to the net and you want to hit over them. This would force them to run back and try to hit this shot. It is very difficult to do.
- The serve
- Serve into the ‘service’ area of your opponent
- You can make your serve more difficult to hit by adding ‘spin’ to it. This is hard to do, and requires practice to perfect.
- Badminton you serve diagonally into your opponent’s court
- You alternate where you serve according to the score. In badminton you serve from the right side if the score is an even number; but from the left side if it is an odd number.
- Remember to always so your score first.
- In an official tennis match a referee will call out the score before each serve.
- The servers score is called out first such as 15 to 30. The server is 15 and he/she is serving to their opponent who has a score of 30.
